Learn about wine with Master of Wine, Bob Campbell, New Zealand's leading wine educator, international wine judge and group wine editor of ACP Media.


Bob Campbell is one of only 264 Masters of Wine in the world. Bob has been running wine courses since 1986 and has lectured to nearly 20,000 people in that time. He teaches his popular wine diploma course throughout New Zealand and in countries including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Britain. Bob Campbell is chairman of judges at the Royal Easter Wine Show and NZ International Wine Show.Courses run throughout the year.

Bob Campbell's Wine Diploma Course

 

In addition to a lot of "need to know" information about wine (such as wine & food matching, wine cellaring, wine types, wine faults, serving temperatures etc) the course encourages students to increase their understanding of wine by adopting a process that we call "wine profiling". This tasting-based course will expose students to around 50 different wines.

 

New Zealand Wine Certificate Course

 


The New Zealand Wine Certificate course offers a complete review of the country's regional styles, approach to winemaking and viticulture, labelling and wine history. Students may elect to be assessed for a Level Four Unit Standard under the NZQA qualification system.

 

Italian Wine Masterclass

 


This program is for people who wish to discover the diverse and exciting world of Italian wines. Students will be introduced to the major wine styles of Italy and taste classic examples. You will learn how to read and pronounce Italian wine labels as well as exploring the regions where the wines originate. This program is a joint venture between The Italian Trade Commission Sydney, Enoteca Italiano and Bob Campbell MW

 

French Wine Masterclass

 


A complete review of the main French wine regions with a comprehensive tasting of wines from each. This course offers a useful guide to anyone contemplating a trip to France or simply wishing to understand the complexities of France's wine labelling laws and wine styles.
